Two exciting events to raise money for The Salvation Army of Livingston County are coming up soon. On May 2, 2025, we have our lavish Red Tie Gala at the beautiful Oak Pointe Country Club. Our Red Tee Golf Outing is at Brighton’s top private golf and country club, the Oak Pointe Golf Course on May 5, 2025. Tickets are sold separately or in a money-saving package, with special prices for ARMOR employees. All proceeds go to benefit The Salvation Army and their valuable services. Join us and share in the experience of “Doing the Most Good” for Livingston County and those in need.
The Salvation Army has helped millions of people around the world since its founding in 1865. Every year in Livingston County The Salvation Army of Livingston County provides 9,200 Summer Lunch Bunch meals for children, distributes over 15,000 gifts for children and families, provides coats to over 800 children, and lodging to over 2,200 people. They provide assistance through programs that address domestic violence, drug addiction, gangs, illiteracy, and poverty, as well as running large campaigns that provide food and meals to those in need during holidays. Sponsored By The Patent Baron
When they are not sponsoring events for The Salvation Army, registered patent attorney and founder of The Patent Baron, J. Baron Lesperance, and his dedicated team, spend their time helping people to protect their intellectual property in a variety of ways. Along with Attorney Lesperance’s 20+ years of experience with IP law, he holds degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering and is an inventor who understands the invention process and how to help his clients turn their ideas into intellectual property that they own.
We help people protect their inventions and invention ideas with patents, their brand and brand ideas with trademarks, and their written words with copyrights and many other intellectual property law issues. Without these things, other people can use an individual’s idea without giving him or her any money for using it or credit for it being their idea. Without a trademark, a person or organization could (for example) take an image of The Salvation Army’s well-known red shield logo or use their signature red pails for Christmas, for things that have nothing to do with The Salvation Army and are not endorsed by them.
